One Acre Fund and Yara will be representing Farming First at the third session of the UN General Assembly Open Working Group (OWG) in New York from May 22nd to May 24th.
Topics scheduled for discussion include food security and nutrition, sustainable agriculture, desertification and land degradation. The outcomes from the OWG will help shape the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), offering a starting point for ensuring that sustainable agriculture is high on the agenda.
