Micaela is the Communications Coordinator at The Global FoodBanking Network, where she assists with all aspects of GFN’s communications strategy and coordinates projects with Network food bank staff to support their marketing efforts. She brings a background in social media management, health promotion, and environmental education. Prior to GFN, she worked with the Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment, Food+ by Compass and various nonprofits in the food systems space. She holds a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
