Brian is a Program Coordinator in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit. He assists in the preparation of publications and presentations related to food security, nutrition, agriculture, rural development and poverty reduction issues. Prior to joining IFPRI, Brian completed his Master of Public Policy at the University of Minnesota, Humphrey School of Public Affairs. He also researched healthcare financing at the Minnesota Department of Health and worked in Guatemala at the nonprofit, Maya Health Alliance where he assisted in the creation of a diabetes clinic social enterprise.
