Rotimi Williams is a former journalist, agripreneur and self-taught farmer who has a passion to make a change in the agricultural space and is actively involved in helping communities affected by the security challenges in Northern Nigeria.

Rotimi’s love for agriculture began after his work in the finance sector and the realization of how under-financed and underutilized agriculture is in Nigeria.  Kereksuk Rice Farm covers over 45,000 hectares of land which is leased from local communities in Nassarawa State Nigeria.  He is passionate about improving yields.  His farm is the second largest commercial rice farm in Nigeria by land size and employs more than 600 natives of Nassarawa.  At the farm he is challenged with the task of instilling peaceful coexistence between the workers and a largely permanent Fuani community. He is committed to tackling the violence in the region because without doing so, he and many others will be forced to abandon farming entirely.
