Dr Lamyaa Al-Riyami is the Senior Manager for Evaluation Programme Planning at GALVmed and has now been working in Monitoring & Evaluation for 10 years. Dr Al-Riyami holds a doctorate degree in Immuno-parasitology and a BSc Hons in Immunology and Microbiology. Prior to joining GALVmed, she was a joint Research Fellow – with a specialisation in parasitic diseases – at the University of Strathclyde and the University of Glasgow, working on multiple pan-European projects funded by the Wellcome Trust and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), part of UK Research and Innovation.
