Dr John McMurdy is currently the Vice President, Innovation and Development, at CropLife International. Previously, Dr. McMurdy served as senior international research and biotechnology advisor in the Bureau for Food Security at USAID where he managed agency investments in agricultural R&D and capacity development programs. Prior to USAID, John served as the Chief Technology Officer at Corum Medical, a technology company he co-founded with physician and engineering colleagues in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Brown University and his B.S./M.S. from the University of Rochester.
