Dr. Moumini Savadogo, Rhodes Scholar, Beit Fellow, and Chair of the West African steering committee on the Green Hydrogen Atlas under the Go Green Go Africa initiative, is the Managing Director of AKADEMIYA2063.
A transformational leader and scientist in the areas of the environment and sustainable development, Dr. Savadogo’s interventions span agricultural systems, climate change, energy and environmental governance and diplomacy, sustainable development, and conservation of nature. He has over 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors, with a strong focus on science-policy interfaces and advocacy for the last 15 years.
Before joining AKADEMIYA2063, he served as Executive Director and Diplomatic Head of Mission at the West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted land use (WASCAL), where he led a strong network of centres of excellence on climate change and sustainable development goals, overseeing the expansion of portfolios, partnerships, and budgets.
