Mainassara Zaman-Allah is a physiologist and abiotic stress phenotyping specialist. His research is largely devoted to harnessing the power of remote sensing for next-generation field phenotyping that is compatible with maize breeders needs and provides opportunities to significantly minimise selection cost while maximising selection efficiency. He has also played a key role in the development of standardised screening phenotyping techniques, protocols for key abiotic stresses relevant to maize breeding.
