Juan Carlos Thomas is the Vice President of Entrepreneurship & New Ventures at TechnoServe, where he leads the development and deployment of best practices in the support of entrepreneurs and small-and-growing businesses in the organisation’s projects. Previously, he served as TechnoServe’s Chile Country Director. Among his accomplishments in that role, he led the first inclusive business development program in Chile; the first small business accelerator program in Patagonia; several economic development programs in communities surrounding energy and mining projects; and the design of business development methodologies now being used in Latin America and Africa.
