Farming First was pleased to act as media partner to The Economist’s Feeding the World Summit 2015, held in Amsterdam last week. Respected names in agribusiness, policy, international agencies, science and the NGO community – including many Farming First supporter organisations – gathered to debate solutions to the big questions of “Quality vs. quantity: food and nutrition security for nine billion”. Farming First spokespeople Susan Carlson of the World Farmers Organisation and Prem Warrior of Valagro were among the experts invited to share their opinions on stage.
