Farming First Partners with the Economist Feeding the World Conference

Farming First is pleased to announce that for the second year running it will be a media partner for The Economist’s Feeding the World summit. This year’s summit is entitled ‘Feeding the World: Accelerating Global Collaboration on Food Security’.

Farming First members will receive a 20% discount from the standard rate to attend. A 40% discount is also available for NGOs.  

This year includes debates around:

  • Smart Partnerships – How to Build Successful Collaborations
  • Getting Tough on Food Waste

Industry leaders, Government ministers, donors, aid agencies and representatives of the research community will gather in Amsterdam to explore opportunities to collaborate in delivering improved nutrition and sustainable agricultural markets.

  • Siep Hiemstra, President of Africa and Middle East, Heineken 

New for this year will be a series of interactive workshops at the event, designed to provide practical solutions to existing problems. Delegates on the day will choose between three workshops on nutrition, finance & risk management and science & technology.
